initiatives like volunteering your time, skills, giving material
resources or supporting financially.
Human Resources (Volunteer Programme)
The
volunteer programme is for those who believe in Rupantaran and can
devote their time. They can volunteer in different field level
programme as well as give support in office level work. The volunteer
programme is flexible and anyone can fit into it according to his/her
skills and area of interest. The volunteer can teach theatre, dance,
singing etc. to youths, make a documentary film on community issues,
make posters etc according to skills and interests s/he have.
Material Resources
There
are many things which are normally discarded when we upgrade ourselves.
These can be of great help to many people belonging to economically
underprivileged section. For example, when someone gets promoted to
higher classes his /her last year school books and other educational
materials can be of great help to the children who lacks these
resources. Also, many of us discard or sell our old computers on very
low prices to update ourselves with the latest technologies. Anyone can
give his/her contribution by donating the utility stuffs (used or new)
for the “other section” of the society.
Financial Resources
Rupantaran needs financial support to take forward its initiatives towards its vision.
Rupantaran
has a very unique fundraising programme which is solely based on the
ideology that we have social responsibility to return. One can
contribute their one percent of income for the sake of humanity.
Someone can register in the programme of “one percent humanity” for a
certain period of time and contribute a small portion of his/her income
for the cause.
One
can contribute in the form of individual donation to run the
initiatives successfully if they don’t want to go for long term
commitment or not having a fixed income.
- Corporate Social Responsibility
Not
only the individuals, but the corporate also have a responsibility
towards the society, as they also utilise resources of the society
(well known as Corporate Social Responsibility). The corporate sector
can support the initiatives of Rupantaran financially to make the
society better place to live.
